The Daiwa Legalis is a workhorse among the entire family of reels from the Japanese brand. This updated model further improves on its strengths, such as lightness and smoothness, while maintaining one of the best value for money in its category.
The AIRDRIVE DESIGN construction concept, borrowed from Daiwa's top-of-the-line reels and applied to the rotor and bail, now allows for a lighter reel, but above all, more pleasant to use when fishing. The lighter yet more robust rotor-bail system allows for smoother and more fluid retrieve and better control of the lure, thanks to the rotation inertia reduced to a minimum.
The drag is also completely new: the ATD-L is the latest evolution of Daiwa's automatic progressive drag (ATD). It now reacts even smoother and more progressively, reducing mechanical stress on the line.
