The development concept for the 'Spearhead Ryuki 70S and 80S' was to catch medium to large main rivers by targeting various species of trout by casting low.
The semi-long lip to grip the water and the flat body with fixed low centre of gravity weight settings endowed the lure with a high level of swimming performance in the strong main stream. The start of the action is quick and can handle consecutive contractions while working the rod.
Some lures lose casting comfort due to the increase in body size of the lure, but by controlling the body height, we were able to realise top-of-the-line casting capability.
