Tubertini match fishing rods are designed and built by competition anglers, resulting in the creation of the best three-piece and telescopic match rods on the market. This Anglo-Saxon technique stems from the need to remain still with the float when fishing even in windy conditions. For this reason, the English developed a technique using long-stemmed floats and sinking line to stay under the water's surface and prevent the wind from moving the float.

In recent years they have also had great success in sea fishing from the shore on ports, piers and cliffs.
