Janas 107 Laguna is one of the very few floating pencil baits of this size on the market.
It is characterized by an ABS structure, a length of 107 mm, a weight of 19 g, a through armor and a swimming depth between the surface of the water and 50 cm
The almost vertical position when stationary, with the front end out of the water, allows a rhythmic recovery made of soft and more or less long jerks, in which the bait dips its head swimming with a large roll just under the surface of the water, and stop, during which the bait must be given time to regain the surface. It often becomes decisive to intersperse the rhythmic retrieve with dry and short jerks, which cause a violent immersion of the head of the bait causing a lot of noise and vibrations.
The Janas 107 Laguna was created for bass fishing, to solve situations in which classic surface baits are not very effective, such as shallow and calm waters, with little current.
Despite its name however, and thanks to its characteristics and the arrangement of the weights which allows for an important range, it has also proved to be very interesting for fishing for pelagics such as greenhouse, lecce and dolphin fish.
The standard equipment includes the use of two 3X #4 reinforced treble hooks, but single hooks can also be used, Gàmu 2/0 on the belly and Gàmu 1/0 on the tail.
