This extremely sturdy keepnet is ideal for carp fisheries but is specifically designed for catching American catfish, which are abundant in Italian waters. The mesh used for this keepnet has a unique, very tight weave, and the inside surface in contact with the fish is very smooth, minimizing the risk of fish spines getting caught in the net. The seams are all external to prevent snagging, and the last rings are protected by a rubber sheath. Two overlapping handles make it easy to lift the keepnet from the water. The large mouth and two sections of very sturdy nylon fabric facilitate the insertion of landing nets inside the keepnet and prevent fish from becoming entangled. The diameter of the first ring is 55 cm, the other rings are 48 cm.
