AIRDRIVE DESIGN: a new quality standard.
The rotor and bail arm of the new Fuego are AIRDRIVE: completely new and designed to minimize rotational inertia. Thanks to the new structure, the rotor (made of ZAION V, a special carbon composite) is now 40% lighter but even more durable. This translates into even smoother rotation, with reduced inertia and capable of providing greater control over the lure's movement during retrieve.
The bail arm is also now designed to improve anti-tangle performance: tangles are reduced to a minimum, thanks to the shape of the bail arm that allows the line to slide and return to the correct position in the blink of an eye. This feature is further facilitated by the new Twist Buster 3 line roller, equipped with an additional groove that can better hold the line in place.
Magsealed Technology
A special membrane of magnetized oil, an exclusive Daiwa technology, protects the internal mechanics, reducing the penetration of dirt and salt inside the body. This effective protection improves the reel's durability, especially for those who fish in saltwater environments.
New ATD - L drag
The new Fuego is equipped with Automatic Tournament Drag Type - L, a new generation drag, even more progressive and precise than before.
