Surfcasting is a fishing technique that is done at sea from the beach, ports, piers and river mouths.
Surfcasting rods can be three-piece and telescopic, with tubular or solid tip tips, fixed or interchangeable. Lengths range from 3.6 to 4.8 meters, with the most popular being 4.2 and 4.5 meters, with casting weights ranging from 50 to 400 grams. They are constructed from high-modulus carbon, fitted with screw-on reel seats and steel and hard stone frame guides.
